According to claims in the German media Stuttgart are looking to sign Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic,

Mario Pašalić who plays for Chelsea and Croatia national team as a central midfielder began his career at Hajduk Split before moving to Stamford Bridge for a reported £3 million in 2014.

Stuttgart signing Mario Pasalic could put the future of Alexandru Maxim in doubt. The Romanian international has been linked with a transfer away to Leeds United in recent months.

Echo 24 are reporting Stuttgart could make a move for Chelsea’s Pasalic this summer, with the German side looking to strengthen their squad.

If the young lad were to leave Stamford Bridge for Stuttgart this would come as a boost for Leeds United as they are keen to make a move for Maxim and with Pasalic’s arrival that would put him direct competition with the 26-year-old which could motivate him to make a move.

No formal bid has been made at this stage, but reports claim Stuttgart have made contact to show interest.
