The reason why Romelu Lukaku hasn’t been celebrating goals is because of Ibrahimovic-reports

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has not been celebrating his goals in his last two matches and now reports suggest the real reason behind it is because of star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Romelu Lukaku is unhappy at the moment at United as he feels that the enigmatic Ibrahimovic, since coming back from injury, has been undermining him.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently came back from a serious knee injury but ever since resigning for United and returning to the squad, he has been telling Lukaku to play out wide when the Swede plays or comes on off the bench.

MirrorSport report that Lukaku’s unhappiness is stemming from the Swede telling him where to play while he is also unhappy at manager Jose Mourinho for not stopping the Swede from bossing him around.

Ibrahimovic, 36-years-old, is known for his big ego and it’s not a complete surprise to know that Zlatan is still seemingly the king at Old Trafford.

Lukaku has complained that whenever the Swede comes on, he forces Lukaku to play out wide, while Ibrahimovic takes the central striking role.

And it’s evident that the big Swede’s return has impacted on Lukaku’s form. He has managed four goals in 10 games since Ibrahimovic returned, compared to 11 in his first 10 matches.

Manager Jose Mourinho will have a big headache if this spat continues, but he is one of the best managers in the world, so it’s expected he’ll be able to sort it out with a bit of player management.
