Antonio Conte says Chelsea may have another centre-forward in goal-scoring defender Gary Cahill
Cahill netted the match-winner in Saturday’s 2-1 away win over Stoke City, his fourth league goal this season.
Cahill is currently The Blues highest-scoring defender in the Premier League.
He has scored six goals for Chelsea across all competitions this season
“For me, Gary, he can play also as a centre forward,” Conte said.
“He has a good quality, he is acrobatic, he is very good during corners and set-pieces.”
“I am pleased for him because we conceded the penalty because the referee saw a little push on Gary and then I told him to find the solution to win. This had finished the game.
“It is a difficult moment to remember this because me and all the players we celebrated a great win. I repeat, this is a great win.”
