Toni Kroos eyed by Chelsea as Oscar replacement

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos could be on his way to England after all this summer, with Chelsea now looking at him as a possible replacement for Oscar.

Manager Jose Mourinho seems to have lost faith in the Brazilian and is now looking for a new creative spark in midfield, and would happily take advantage of Kroos’ contract negotiations stalling at The Allianz.

The German has 12 months left on his current contract, and with no new deal looking likely, a whole list of European clubs have been alerted to his possible availability. His current deal is worth ÂŁ150,000 per week, a figure Chelsea will have no problems paying.

Kroos has already recently ruled out a move to Manchester United this summer, insisting that he will remain at Bayern next season, however it is thought that the decision could be soon taken out of his hands.

Bayern won’t want Kroos to be available on a free next summer, so may look to cash in on the German for around ÂŁ25million this summer should they fail to negotiate a new deal.
