Tony Gale: ‘Jose Mourinho is trying to get sacked from Manchester United’

Jose Mourinho is trying to get himself sacked from being manager at Manchester United, says Sky Sports pundit Tony Gale.

The Portuguese gaffer faces a two-match suspension after being charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following his dismissal in the first-half on Manchester United’s draw against West Ham United last weekend.

He kicked a water bottle in anger after Paul Pogba received a yellow card for diving, and the Red Devils boss was sent to the stands for the second time this term by referee Jon Moss.

Gale believes the 53-year-old’s outbursts are a sign of his craving to leave Old Trafford just six months after taking on the role.

“My interpretation of Jose’s actions at the weekend is that he wants out of the job,” said the former Hammers defender.

“He looks like a man that wants to get sacked.

“I can’t really understand what is going on with him.”
