10. Kjell Petter Opheim – 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in)
Kjell Petter Opheim is one of the Top 10 Tallest Footballers In The World. The 33-year-old goalkeeper stands at 6 ft 8, which is quite important considering he is a goalkeeper.
For those of you who haven’t heard of him, which is most likely all of you, Opheim currently plays in the Norwegian third division with a team called Stryn Soccer.
He has previously played for teams like; Oslo East, Manglerud Star, Lyn and Moss.
Now you will never forget the name of this Norwegian giant.
9. Even Iverson – 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in)
Ever Iversen is also one of the Top 10 Tallest Footballers In The World. Another player famous in Norway. They just love the tall players.
Well this centre-back also stands at 6 ft 8 and commands his defensive area when playing in the Norwegian league.
Iversen has has previous with Oslo East and Flakstad IL.

The 31-year-old has enjoyed spells with; Molde, Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and Honefoss, which is where he currently plays.
He spent most of his career with Sarpsborg, making over 100 appearances for the club

Costel Pantilimon is also one of the tallest Soccer Players in the World. I would guess that it is finally a soccer player you would have heard of.
Costel Pantilimon has spent most of his career as an understudy to Joe Hart at Manchester City, however, he ended his time there when he agreed to join Sunderland.
The Romanian is still in the Premier League and is currently at Nottingham Forest on loan from Watford.

The 38-year-old, who was a forward, has recently retired from the game, ending his career with Aalesund.
Aaroy spent most of his time at that club and returned there for a season to retire. He spent 10-years there from 2001 til 2011 making nearly 300 appearances.

A very tall striker that actually spent one-month in England with Bolton Wanderers on trial. However he failed to impress and didn’t get the chance to play in English leagues.
Changpeng has spent all of his career in China with Chinese clubs, but at the age of 26, there is still hope for the man-mountain.

Vanja Ivesa is a Croatian ‘keeper who currently plays for Opatija. The 38-year-old has played for numerous clubs over his career, but spent most of his time in Turkey with Eskişehirspor.
He made over 100 appearances for the Turkish club but has sadly never made an appearance for his national team despite his rather large frame.
2. Paul Millar – 2.07 m (6 ft 9 in)

Paul Millar is a Scottish footballer who currently plays for Elgin City and he stands at a whopping 6 ft 10.
Millar signed for Elgin back in 2010 after playing in a friendly when he was part of the Royal Air Force. The manager of Elgin was so impressed by his performance, he decided to sign him.
Sadly for Millar he’s recently suffered a horror knee injury and hasn’t played football in a long time.

Kristof Van Hout stands at a whopping 6 ft 10 and at just 28-years-old, he’s got plenty of game-time left in him. The joint tallest footballer in the world.
Van Hout is a goalkeeper, so he must look rather intimidating in between the sticks, but he’s yet to command the number-one position at any club he’s been with.
The tallest Soccer Player in the World, Kristof Van Hout, is currently at K.V.C. Westerlo.
