Kick starting the list of the Top 20 Most Valuable Players in World Football for 2016 is Arsenal’s best player Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean footballer joined Arsenal from Barcelona for a fee of  £35 million in the summer of 2014 and was influential in his first season with the Gunners, he went on to win the club’s best player and almost won the PFA Player of the year but was beaten by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard to the award.

In his first season with the Gunners he scored an incredible 14 goals in 18 games for the gunners, it was so unfortunate that he ended his 2014-2015 season with a hamstring injury which also continued in his second season which laid him back from making all appearances with the team.

Despite not being as influential as he was in the first season, Alexis Sanchez is valued at €81.9 million.
