Which games were the ones to watch last season?

Well, England are out of Euro 2016, so we might as well start already start looking the Premier League starting again.

There’s still a long wait until the new league campaign kicks off on August 13th, with a tasty-looking set of opening weekend fixtures.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Everton will all begin the seasons with new managers, with opening fixtures against Bournemouth, Sunderland, West Ham and Tottenham respectively. Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp will begin his first full season at Anfield away at Arsenal.

But while we wait for all that, let’s think about some of last year’s incredible games. The ‘wow’ games that made it one of the best seasons the Premier League has ever seen. The games that have had memorable moment, or were just non-stop action, here are what we think were the top 5 games of the 2015/16 Premier League season:

Bournemouth 3-3 Everton – 28/11/16

Proof that ‘Fergie time’ is alive and well and living in a sleepy town on the south coast. The most jaw-dropping denouement of the season came after Everton contrived to concede seconds after forging 3-2 ahead deep into injury time at Dean Court. That Junior Stanislas’s equaliser was only made possible by a pitch invasion from Everton fans following their own team’s third goal, which led to more added time, only added to the drama.
