Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.
The Spaniard has struggled for first-team football this season under Louis Van Gaal, but in recent weeks, he has been used and has been instrumental in the club’s victories over Spurs and Liverpool.
Spurs initially wanted to sign Mata before he joined Chelsea back in 2011, and after a mixed time at Old Trafford, Mauricio Pochettino may launch a fresh bid for Mata at the end of the season.
According to reports, the North London club are prepared to offer around £18million for the 26-year-old.
After his fine performances in recent weeks however, Van Gaal may be against selling the playmaker, especially to a Premier League rival.
