While Pastore’s agent has hinted that the player has played his last game for PSG, Javier Pastore has denied about this speculation.

Javier Pastore has denied that he has played his last game for Paris Saint-Geman or that he has said goodbye to his teammates.

Pastore was once a regular player starting for the Ligue 1 leaders. However, with the recent heavy spendings done by the club, he has fallen down the order.

With the recent signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, Pastore has found it difficult to find a place in the starting 11. And with the likes of Angel Di Maria, Edinson Cavani and Julian Draxler does not help Pastore cement a place in the team.

The Argentina international has made just 8 league starts this season so far. The 28-year-old waved to the fans after the 3-1 win over Caen earlier this week as if he was leaving the club. This added fuel to his exit.

La Liga club, Atletico Madrid and Italian club, Inter Milan are both interested in securing the 28-year-old in the winter transfer window.

Pastore’s agent, Marcelo Simonian, had hinted that the player has played his last game for the Ligue 1 leaders. However, Pastore has rejected those rumours.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Pastore said, “It’s a lie to say that I have said goodbye to my team-mates. I have always thought about playing for this club and doing the best I can every time.

“In recent games, I have played a lot and I am happy. I still have 1.5 years of my contract left, and I’m very calm.

“I was looking for more playing time, it’s true. The coach makes the decisions and I have to make sure to keep improving to get some PSG playing time.”
