Robin van Persie has lavished praise on his former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claiming he is the best coach he has ever worked with.

The 34-year-old scored 132 goals in 278 games for Arsenal between 2004 and 2012 before joining Manchester United.

Despite winning the biggest major honour of his career under Ferguson, Van Persie, who returned to his first club Feyenoord earlier this week, credits Wenger with having had the biggest impact on his career.
