Leicester Striker Jamie Vardy has hinted on a move away from the club in the summer.
The England international has nine goals this season and is currently the highest scoring player in the Premier League.
The 28 year old was released by Sheffield Wednesday for being too small when he was 16 years old. He found himself trawling through semi-professional leagues for the majority of his career wating for a big break. Despite playing at such a low level Vardy always showed greyhound-like pace and a sharp finish that top-flight defenders are currently finding impossible to stop.
In 2012 Vardy was plucked from Fleetwood Town for just £1million.
In the summer He spoke about Nigel Pearson-
“It was a big gamble , hopefully, I repaid it all,” reflected Vardy, who penned a four-year deal at Leicester in August 2014.
“I was sad to see him go but that is football nowadays, that is what happens.
“Managers come and go, but so do players.
“I’m contracted to the club and I’m happy at Leicester. It’s all about knuckling down and seeing where we can finish this season.”
