Wass open to Premier League move

Danish defender Daniel Wass has revealed that he would be open to a move to the Premier League in January.

The 25 year old, who currently plays for French side Evian, is a proposed target for both Chelsea and Liverpool.

Indeed, the Reds considered a bid for the centre back in the summer, however any sort of deal stalled for the highly-rated defender.

Wass, who can also play as a full-back, has been in France for two years, and has made 74 appearances for the Ligue 1 side since his permanent move to Evian in 2012, having spent the previous season on loan from Benfica.

Chelsea and Liverpool are both likely to go in pursuit to attempt to sign him, with Wass open to any move should one come his way.

â€śMy head is still in Evian but if you offer me a departure in January, I will not say no.

“I want to progress and prove my abilities at a higher level.

“But a club has to be interested to meet the requirements that Evian have.”
