West Ham desperate to keep Cresswell

West Ham are going to reject any offers that are made for Aaron Cresswell this summer as they try to keep hold of the 25-year old. He has made a tremendous start to life at the Boleyn Ground and he is likely to be named the club’s ‘Hammer of the Year.’

Chelsea and Man City have been linked with a move for the defender in recent weeks and the London club don’t want to let one of their star players leave for Premier League opposition. They are hopeful they can keep hold of the Englishman and they will reject any bids that do come in for him.

However, they won’t offer him a new deal at the club as he only signed a five-year deal with them last year following his move from Ipswich.

Jose Mourinho is likely to still make a bid for the player despite these claims from West Ham to test their resolve and see if they really will reject any and all bids for the left-back.
