The former Chelsea forward is out of favour at the Westfalenstadion. And ahead of the World Cup in Russia next summer, Schurrle would like to get more game time under his belt.

“So we’ve got a little bit of an imbalanced squad which we’ve got to straighten out in January if we can.”
With Javier Hernandez looking to move, Schurrle could be an ideal replacement for the Hammers.
