The crew over at France Football put out a list of football’s top earners every season, with the 12-page report detailing earnings of the top 20 footballers from all over the world.
The study however, does not just take into account player’s overall gross salaries, but also factors in bonuses and any other income generated through advertisements and endorsements.
According to the study, the top three highest earning footballers just this season have earned more as before all up (€219.5 million), while the top 20 footballers also have earned the most in all of football’s history (€619.2 million).
