Chelsea are reportedly keeping an eye on Bundesliga left back, Ricardo Rodgriguez, as the West London side look to find a long term replacement for veteran full back Ashley Cole.
Mourinho has reportedly sent scouts to monitor the youngster who will apparently be avaliable for a sum of £9m, a fee Chelsea will be happy to pay as they will be getting a youngster with lots of talent and has already made 17 appearances for the Swiss national side.
Chelsea will be looking to replace Ashely Cole as he will be out of contract come the summer transfer window and has not yet begun negotiations over a new deal. Any deals reached will only be for one year as part of the Blues’ club policy so the England full back will have to begin exploring other options in the forthcoming seasons.
Rodriguez is a very talented youngster and has started all 12 Bundesloiga matches so far for Wolfsburg, and is looking a bright prospect. He is a very attacking player and has 1 goal and 2 assists to his name, so Chelsea will be getting a player with the same mind set as the verteran defender he will replace.
