Liverpool and Tottenham are believed to be interested in the Ukrainian winger

Andriy Yarmolenko, 25, believes he has what it takes to play in one of the “top championships”.

The Dynamo Kiev man has decided the time has come for a new challenge after helping his side win the league title.

Yarmolenko has told Ukraine’s Profutbol that the club president agreed he would be allowed to move in reward for helping Kiev to win the domestic crown.

“I promised that until we become champions, I was not going anywhere. We are now champions. The president knows that I want to leave” said the Ukraine international.

Premier League interest

Several clubs including Brendan Rodger’s Liverpool have enquired about Yarmolenko, who could be one of several additions as the Merseyside club look to improve on their 6th place finish.

The Northern Irishman may well be out at the end of the week after talks between him and co-owner Tom Werner will take place this week.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been tracking the £20m Ukrainian attacker as they look to break into the top four once more next season.
