Real boss decides to keep wonderkid
Real Madrid boss Zinadine Zidane has made the decision to keep James Rodriguez at the Bernabau this summer.
The Columbian was the target of West Ham and Manchester United, but Zidane has decided to keep the young forward in his squad.
He was signed by Madird in 2014 for €80million following an impressive world cup, but has since struggled for game time.
And, after insisting he will fight to earn his place in the Madrid team, James’ manager has provided confirmation of where the 25-year-old’s future lies.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Madrid’s friendly against PSG in Columbus, Zinedine Zidane said: “He [James] is a Real Madrid player and he is going to stay,” from Sky Sports.
So, it turns out Rodriguez will be staying…sorry West Ham fans, it just wasn’t meant to be.
