Reasons For Liverpool vs West Brom Predictions & Betting Tips

Liverpool are the favourites to win this match with odds of 1.22 with bet365, with strugglers West Brom the rank outsiders at 11.30 with Unibet to take a shock three points at Anfield.

Given the away side’s form, it’s hard to see them taking anything on Wednesday – particularly if Jurgen Klopp lines up with the fantastic four of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.

The German manager controversially left out the latter two in Sunday’s Merseyside derby against Everton, a decision that proved costly as his team were held to a 1-1 draw.

However, this is the perfect match for them to get back on track against a team without a win in 15 matches in all competitions.

The Baggies are known for their resilient, hard to beat style but this season they have been anything but, with manager Tony Pulis sacked after a poor run of form that has not seen them win since August.

Alan Pardew is his replacement, and although he has plenty of Premier League experience he will have a hard time keeping out Liverpool’s attack. We are backing a home win at 1.22 with bet365.

All of the Reds frontmen have been in excellent recent form, particularly Mo Salah who has scored an incredible 19 goals already this season.

He opened the scoring against Everton and we’re backing him to repeat the trick against West Brom at 4.00 with bet365.

The Reds defensive troubles have been well documented, but at home they are much more formidable which is why we are tipping them to win 3-0 at 6.75 with Unibet.

Liverpool vs West Brom Form

Liverpool host West Brom in the Premier League on Wednesday night. Jurgen Klopp’s men will be looking to get back to winning ways after being held to a 1-1 draw in the Merseyside derby. The Baggies are looking for their first win in 15 matches.

Liverpool Form

The Reds had been unstoppable in front of goal in recent weeks, but stumbled to a 1-1 draw in the derby as Jurgen Klopp controversially opted to rest Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino. This looks like a good game for them to get back on track.

West Brom Form

West Brom started the season with three successive triumphs, but since then they have gone 15 games without a win which lead to the sacking of manager Tony Pulis. New boss Alan Pardew would love to get off the mark here.
