Hansi Flick has been named as the Bayern Munich coach for the rest of the year.

Bayern Munich have recently come under a lot of criticism. The club first of all had to defend its own players after they were axed from the national team of Germany for poor performances.

However, defending the players is acceptable but publicly threatening a national team association to not send players unless Bayern’s star keeper Manuel Neuer is reinstated as first choice goalkeeper, is a bit of a ransom. Or blackmail in simple words.

The board continued to do itself no favors by openly chasing players from other teams while at the same time pretending to be as noble as ever.

Finally, due to poor performances, Bayern had to sack their coach Niko Kovac. The Bayern boss had to leave and the club appointed his second in charge Hansi Flick as stand in boss.

Meanwhile, the old men at the club finally decided to call it quits and in their final ceremonial process, they left the club with yet another undesired gift, Hansi Flick as boss till end of 2019 at least.

“Uli, Hasan and I publicly announced after the Dortmund match Hansi would be our coach until further notice,” Rummenigge said at Bayern’s annual general meeting.

“[On Thursday] we decided that he will be coach at least until Christmas and possibly beyond. We trust Hansi Flick.”

While Flick will be happy and overjoyed, the others will not realise what exactly he did to earn the job over the likes of Mourinho and Wenger, the latter of whom Bayern contacted voluntarily and then refused to follow up with.
