Manchester City had a crazy night in the Champions League against Atalanta.

Their first choice goalkeeper Ederson had to be pulled out due to risking an injury. It saw their back up goalie Claudio Bravo go in on goal. However, he could not finish the match as he was sent off leaving City in a critical condition. That saw Kyle Walker don the goalkeeping gloves.

“Did I volunteer to go in goal? I think it was a bit of both,” Walker revealed after the game.

“I try and sometimes banter the keepers in training, telling them to catch it and stuff.

“But, as I found tonight, you sometimes have to take two touches!

“All jokes aside we came here for a point or victory.

“They are a good team; they play man to man and are in the Champions League for a reason so to come away from here with a draw with how the game ended is a good point.

“And we’ll take that on.”

“Listen both teams are good teams,” Walker added about their clash against Liverpool. “We take one game at a time and now the focus is for Liverpool.

“We’ll get the recovery in and then look forward to an exciting game.”
