Fellaini not interested in a move to Turkey

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has offered himself to Roma, according to Corriere dello Sport

Since arriving at Manchester United, Marouane Fellani hasn’t quite established himself as a starter for the team and mostly reduced to the benches. Every season he is been linked with a move away from the club but manages to stay.

Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho in 2016, the Belgian as struggled to hold down a place in Mourinho’s starting XI and has been used sparingly as an impact sub. This season he has only managed 19 competitive appearances for the club with four goals and one assist.

Last season the 30 year old was close to joining Galatasaray but a deal never went through as Mourinho wanted him to stay at least for one more season. With his contract expiring this summer, he is to set to leave United this summer on a free transfer with Galatasaray and Besiktas interested in him.

But according to latest rumors, Fellaini prefers a move to Serie A and has offered himself to Roma. He has put talks on hold with Turkish clubs for now.

Fellani joined Manchester United from Everton for £27.5 million, signing a 4 year contract with the option to extend 1 more year on 2 September 2013.
