Group A should see hosts Egypt easily advancing with DR Congo ending in second place. Nigeria are heavy favorites to win Group B but Guinea is one team they should be wary of. Tunisia are heavy favorites to win Group E and should be able to do so with Mali right behind them in second position. Reigning champions Cameroon will fight it out with Ghana for first position.
