Chelsea and Enzo Maresca have a big season ahead of them as they try to move past the mediocre performances and outcomes of the previous two seasons. If given the right resources, Maresca will try to turn everything around. Among the first choices he must make is whether to trade for Benoit Badiashile, a 23-year-old centre back.
Juventus is reportedly considering making a deal for Chelsea defensive wonder Benoit Badiashile after rekindling their interest in him, according to a report from Calciomercato.it. The French centre-back could be helpful to the Old Lady in their quest to strengthen their defense. The Blues are estimated to be worth €35 million.
Juventus is interested in signing Badiashile
While Benoit Badiahile’s contract with the London club runs until the summer of 2030, his future at the club looks uncertain. Juventus are one of the clubs interested in the 23-year-old. The Old Lady were keen on signing him during his days at AS Monaco.
Given his current circumstances, Badiashile may be available for a signing with Juventus. However, Enzo Maresca, who recently assumed leadership as Chelsea’s new manager, will make the final call. Should he believe that the 23-year-old is not part of their plans, the Blues may consider authorizing his departure. Given their financial circumstances, the Italian powerhouses may have difficulties letting go of him, as they value him at almost €35 million.
