Liverpool who have already had a bid of £20m turned down for Southampton captain Adam Lallana are ready to come back with an improved offer of £26m.
The fee of £26m will be paid in 2 instalments as they hope this will land their target.
Rodgers who has made Lallana a top priority is hopeful of doing business and brings the star in before the World Cup starts.
