When fit, his quality is among the finest on offer in Europe. The signing of someone like Reus would be a massive statement from Liverpool. A warning to the rest of Europe that they mean business. It’s a very unlikely transfer, but with the financial power Liverpool are reportedly going to have this summer, and the carrot of Champions League football, the Reds should try and pull it off.
1) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Aubameyang is perhaps the best direct striker in Europe. He’s lightning quick, a fantastic finisher and has worked with Klopp before. Would the German be able to pull off the signing of the summer and bring Aubameyang to Anfield? Unlikely, but the Liverpool faithful can dream.
