£20million-rated Manchester United man could be set for Serie A move
Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian could be set for a return to Italy, with a number of clubs from Serie A all rumoured to be interested in the former Torino man’s signature.
Roma and Juventus are both keen on the versatile defender and according to CalcioMercato are prepared to pay up to £20million for him in the upcoming January transfer window.
Darmian’s future at United looks uncertain, and since joining back in 2015 he has fallen down the pecking order, so much so that Jose Mourinho normally opts to play natural wingers such as Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young at full-back.
The 27 year-old has only featured three times in the league so far this season, although it appears he still has plenty of suitors back in his homeland.
Having lost ground in the Premier League title race, the Red Devils are likely to be active in the winter market as they look to strengthen their squad to compete for trophies in the new year.
