The Arsenal star is demanding wages of £150,000 a week if he is to make the switch to Chelsea from Arsenal this summer, according to reports.
Goal is claiming Chelsea are still interested in the 23-year-old midfielder, even though Arsenal has insisted that he is not for sale.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has only one year left on his current contract at The Emirates and has not yet signed a new deal with the north London side.
The same report says that Arsenal want to keep Oxlade-Chamberlain but are “struggling” to meet his wage demands in a new contract.
The report also says that a fee of around £35m could convince Arsenal into selling the midfielder, although it remains to be seen whether the Gunners would be prepared to do business with a direct rival.
It also says that a pay-rise to £150,000 a week is more than double his current wage, with Oxlade-Chamberlain said to be earning around £65,000 a week at Arsenal at present.
The midfielder featured from the start for the Gunners as they sealed a thrilling 4-3 win over Leicester City in their Premier League opener last week.
