Premier League’s fierce rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are set to battle it out for the signature of Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic.
Italian giants AS Roma are also said to be interested in bringing the Croatian midfielder back to Serie A.
The Croatian international’s chances of becoming a full-time regular will depend on who will be Real Madrid manager next summer. Spanish reports say that Zinedine Zidane is leaving for good of the club.
The 23 year old Croatian international playmaking/attacking midfielder Mateo Kovacic, according to latest news, has been targeted by Serie A giants Lazio and Roma. Former Inter Milan player is tracked by Liverpool and Manchester United, as well as having been linked to a possible move back to Neroazzurri themselves.
Mateo Kovacic is currently on a deal with Blancos until June 2021, and would be signed over on a no less than 45 million euros fee.
The Premier League duo, Liverpool and Man United are very keen to trigger the asking price for the midfielder.
