Jose Mourinho has received mixed reviews from critics and fans since his arrival at Old Trafford in summer 2016.

Here we take a look at players who could leave Old Trafford if Jose Mourinho stays boss.

  • Paul Pogba

The French international has only turned 25, Using the term ‘young player’ might sound like an excuse for his failures. He has entered the prime years of his career but the midfielder hasn’t established himself as a key player for the Manchester club and has reportedly fallen out with the current manager Jose Mourinho. Whether Pogba will force out a move or not, only time will tell.

  • Anthony Martial

Despite starting off well in early parts of the season, Martial has gone off the boil since December. The 22 year old looks like the shadow of earlier self. The French star could be tempted to leave the club if Mourinho stays.

  • Luke Shaw

Shaw was starting his first United game in four weeks, but was dragged off at half-time after a performance which had Mourinho openly castigating him from the touchline. This pretty much sums up the relationship between Shaw and Jose.

  • David De Gea

Arguably the best player in the United squad and his departure could be a massive blow to the Manchester club. The Spaniard has been Madrid bound for very long now and is entering his last year of his contract and has shown no signs of signing an extension either.

  • Marouane Fellaini

The Belgian and Manchester United look set to part ways as negotiations for a new deal have reportedly broken down. The Belgian international is out of contract at the end of the season and despite continued attempts by club officials to convince Fellaini to stay, no progress on a new deal has been made and leaving the Red Devils with a huge blow.
