Top players currently playing in Italy
Italian football has been under real questioning in recent seasons, with top-talent leaving the league due to financial powers elsewhere, and clubs failing to stamp their mark in the European competitions.
However, after Juventus reached the Champions League final last season, and with money expected to be spent in Serie A this summer, the Italian league could become more credible once again.
During the early 00’s, Serie A was one of the biggest leagues which played host to the biggest talents. If you don’t believe us, just google AC Milan 2006 team.
So with a busy summer expected in Italy, SillySeason thought it would be a perfect time to look into top talent already playing football in Serie A.
Sadly the likes of Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo have left the league, with Tevez heading to Argentina and Pirlo heading to America, but there are still top talents in Italy.

10. Marek HamšĂk – Napoli
Starting the list is Napoli play-maker Marek Hamsik.
The midfielder has been strongly linked with a move away from Naples over the past few seasons, but his loyalty to the club has kept him in Italy.
Despite missing out on the Champions League for next season, Hamsik is expected to remain at the club and continue to captain the Serie A side.
A creative attacking-midfielder with superb vision and accuracy, Hamsik is deadly in Serie A and is one of the best flair players in the country.
