Marcus Rashford has emerged as a surprise target for AC Milan.
The Italian club is looking to upgrade their strike force and have identified Rashford as one of their potential arrivals. The Manchester United youngster has been a fan favourite at the Old Trafford since his foray into the senior setup and is relishing his current role under Jose Mourinho.
The United manager is known for his rough handling towards young talents but it has been a different case altogether for Rashford. Despite failing to impress on a number of times the 21 year old seems to be a favourite of the manager as so far the young forward has appeared in 13 matches including eight starts.
Rashford fought hard for his place in the team this season and was unarguably the best player on the pitch as United thrashed Fulham 4-1 in the Premier League. His stock has risen in the last couple of seasons and a number of clubs have shown their interest in the United academy product.
In Patrick Cutrone and Gonzalo Higuain Milan do have two goal poachers in their ranks but their inconsistency in the opponent final third caused problems for the Rossoneri and Gennaro Gattuso wants to solve this crisis in the January transfer window.
