The La Liga giants are adding names to their list of potential signings ahead of the 2018/19 season. One of the most recent names on that list is AC Milan ace Suso.
The winger joined the Serie A giants from Liverpool on a free transfer in 2015 and has been one of the mainstays for the club. He has flourished since moving to Italy and is among the most constant players for them.
The 24 year old was a regular last season, scoring 8 goals and assisting 7 in 47 appearances. His form has also earned him Senior International recognition.
The Spanish side has been interested in him when he was 16 but the Reds stole the march on them. They even met with his agent, Alessando Lucci, where they inquired about his situation at Milan before the club ran into FFP issues.
The agent of Suso has offered his client to Real Madrid, according to Sport . Following the Italian club’s two-year ban from playing in European competitions, the door might be open for him to leave.
The midfielder’s chance of moving to Spain is because he has already worked under Lopetegui. He played under him in three different age categories and was called up twice for the senior side.
The club wants to negotiate the asking price down but could face stiff competition from Inter Milan, who are also monitoring his situation.
