AC Milan have secured a deal for Mario Pasalic on loan from Chelsea, according to reports from Italy.

Mario Pasalic is set to join AC Milan on loan, according to reports from Italy.

The youngster has already been shipped out on loan in the past, plying his trade for Monaco in Ligue 1 last season. Now it appears that Italy is in his horizons, with Milan set to confirm a deal for the 21-year old fairly soon.

The Croatian – who has already been called up to his national side and featured twice, despite being just 21 – should spend the full season in Serie A and the deal should set the Italian side back about 1 million Euros (or about ÂŁ850,000).

Previously played for Elche and Hajduk Split

The midfielder impressed many during his time in France with Monaco, as he featured 22 times and helped contribute to several goals and attacking plays, whilst also popping up with three goals from the centre of midfield himself.

His other previous loan spell was with Elche in Spain, who he played 35 times for, also bagging himself three goals for them too.

Before joining Chelsea back in 2014, Pasalic plied his trade for Hajduk Split, who he really shined for. Playing just seven times, he still managed to score an incredible eight goals during that run of games. It clearly impressed the Blues, who then snapped him up.

However, he is yet to make a first-team appearance at Stamford Bridge, but if he continues to impress on loan, that first appearance might not be too far off.
