AC Milan are prepared to lower their £27 million asking price for Balotelli if Arsenal allow Joel Campbell to go the other way.Reports suggest that Milan are keen on the 22 year old Costa Rican striker. Campbel has had an impressive season, scoring 8 goals for Oympiacos including one against Manchester United in the champions league.
However Arsene Weneger has said that Campbell will return to Emirates next season. ‘He will definitely come back to us for pre-season’ said Wenger ‘He is maturing well’.
Campbell impressed Milan during Costa Rica’s impressive win against Uruguay, and he is believed to be a perfect replacement for Mario Balotelli. The price cut deal may allow Wenger to spend money on the rest of the squad.
