Sky Sports have stated that a move for Emmanuel Adebayor is still a possibility.
It was previously ruled out as it was believed that Besiktas would be unable to compete in Europe in the upcoming season.
In the recent days this has turned around, with Besiktas officials being confident that they will be taking part in Europe.
Club president Fikret Orman has confirmed that if Besiktas are successful in their appeal to play European football, he will go over to London to complete the deal.
Orman has been quoted saying “We are interested in Adebayor, the transfer could still go ahead,”
“The deal breaker for Adebayor was whether we would play in Europe this season, as soon as we are cleared I will travel to London and complete the deal.”
