Ademola Lookman insists he is enjoying his time at Everton and would love to play more under Marco Silva.
The winger had been pretty underused in the Merseyside but made his second start for the Toffees which could very much revive his falling career. Silva gave him a start to cope up with the intensity of the match and the winger repaid the faith with a brilliant outing on the pitch.
The youngster set up Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the second goal to wrap up an all round performance at Goodison Park. Lookman’s career seemed to have taken a nosedive but this performance would really provide some much needed lifeline to his career.
Lookman said, “I am confident and comfortable going out there.
“I am just happy to be involved, I love playing football and it is all I want to do.
“Bournemouth gave us a hard game but in the second half we played a lot better and got the three points.
“I am always confident in my ability and I was happy to help the team.”
“I saw Dom running and he likes to score goals so I was delighted to help him
“The most important thing, though, was to get the three points. It was important to win at home again and that is two in a row now
“It grows our confidence, it will be another hard week of training and we’ll look forward to next week’s game at Southampton. I am feeling stronger all the time.”
