Adriano to solve Liverpool’s left back problem

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona full-back Adriano at the end of the season to solve their left back problems. The Reds have struggled at left back spot for most of the season with their number 1 choice Jose Enrique missing games with a long running knee injury, and Aly Cissoko not making an impact on the team. Brendan Rodgers made the spot a priority in the January transfer window, but failed to find a good buy, and shelved the idea.

Now reports suggest that scouts will be flying out to Barcelona in the summer to keep an eye on Adriano, and it’s claimed that Rodgers is ready to offer £6million for the 29 year old. Adriano has fallen behind the pecking order behind Jordi Alba at Barca, and has raised concerns to boss Gerardo Martino about his playing time.
