Manchester United and Barcelona are interested in Rabiot
Adrien Rabiot has been an integral player for Paris Saint-Germain. He is a product of Ligue 1 side’s academy system and made the breakthrough to senior side in 2012, making more than 200 appearances for the side since then. He has been regular for the club despite facing fierce competitions in the midfield.
The midfielder has been chased by giants Manchester United and Barcelona and also linked with a move away from the club this summer. His contract expires in 2019 and still there is no new contract as the talks over extending his deal has stalled. And the clubs are looking to take advantage of this situation.
The France International has given hopes to United and Barcelona by refusing to commit his future to PSG. He recently admitted that he don’t know where he will be playing next season with speculations he will be moving to a different club this summer.
Speaking to Canal+ after helping PSG to a fifth consecutive Coupe de la Ligue triumph: “Will I still be here next year? I do not know, we’ll see.
“But, for now, I want to enjoy every moment and every trophy with my club.”
His talents are held in high regard at PSG, but the club’s ambition means that they are always in the market for top talent and accept that sales must occasionally be sanctioned.
The 22 year old has won 14 major titles including 3 Ligue 1 titles.
