Colombian striker has been linked with Chelsea in recent months

The agent of Carlos Bacca has responded to transfer speculation linking the Colombian with a move to Premier League side Chelsea.

Bacca has only been at the San Siro for one season, since moving from La Liga side Sevilla in the summer, but his form has caught the attention of Chelsea, who are in the market for a new striker.

The Blues currently have Diego Costa as their main striker, but with Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao both expected to leave at the end of the season, they will be in the market for a new forward.

Bacca has netted 15 goals this season, and despite being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, he is happy at San Siro, according to his agent.

Bacca Happy At Milan

“I had no doubt that Bacca would explode in Serie A,” Barila told Radio Crc.

“He had trouble adapting at first, now he’s going through his best period which has coincided with that of the team.

“He’s not just a goalscorer, he’s an assist man too, he sacrifices himself for the team. Winning the Coppa Italia is an objective for Carlos and the club, it’s not a coincidence he chose Milan.

“Sevilla was a winning team, he could have stayed there and played in the Champions League but he believed in the Milan project.

“It’s a great club, and not just because of the past. Carlos wants to win and get into Europe with Milan.”
