Daniel Agger is set to leave Anfield for Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid, according to The Daily Star.
The Newspaper report that the Danish centre back is keen to leave the club, after Brendan Rodgers signed Dejan Lovren from Southampton.
Atletico are keen on the player to replace Filipe Luis, who signed for Chelsea last month, but the Champions face competition from Barcelona.
Agger signed for Liverpool in 2006, and the Reds are keen to demand £12 million for the defender to move on.
The sale of the player will raise more funds to sign new players, following the £75 million sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
