Liverpool full-back dismisses his own agent’s comments
Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno has had to dismiss comments made by his own agent linking him with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
It’s been well documented that the Spanish giants want to sign Moreno, with interest being shown over the summer, but reports emerged yesterday that Moreno wanted to leave Anfield in order to complete the Bernabeu switch.
The comments came from the left-back’s own agent, but he has acted quickly to dismiss the reports and insist that he’s heard nothing about a move back to his homeland.
Moreno Dismisses Reports
Moreno’s agent told a radio station that Madrid keep asking him about his client’s availability, but when Moreno was asked about the interest, he revealed nothing had come his way.
Speaking to Cadena Cope, the Spaniard said: “I have never had anything serious with them – not me, not my brothers or representatives.
On whether there is genuine interest from Real Madrid, he added: “I have not found out about that, I do now know whether that is true.”
