Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro is interested to join PSG according to reports. The 27-year old Juventus man has been targeted by Manchester United despite Jose Mourinho willing to give Luke Shaw a chance. However, it seems like Mourinho will not be able to have Sandro at Old Trafford.
Sandro did not have a very good start last season but improved as the season progressed. Sandro ended the season with 4 goals and 6 assists across all competitions as Juventus won the Serie A and Coppa Italia.
Juventus have lost some of their finest defenders in the last two summers with Dani Alves joining PSG last summer and Leonardo Bonucci making a move to AC Milan. Provided Alex Sandro departs from the club, the Juventus backline will suffer a massive blow both defensively and offensively.
However, having spent a good chunk of money on Ronaldo, selling Sandro would help Juventus recover some of the funds.
According to reports from Paris United, Alex Sandro has agreed to a contract with PSG. However, that report hasn’t been confirmed yet.
