Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has praised his national teammate Eder Militao for his performances this season. Militao has been in terrific form for Porto this season and played a key role in the club’s run to the Champions League quarter-finals where Liverpool thrashed them 6-1. Militao scored Porto’s only goal of the tie in the second leg at Porto.
Militao’s performances for Porto this season attracted interest from Real Madrid and Los Blancos signed him on a transfer fee of €50 million. Militao will join Real next season.
Alisson spoke of Militao, “He’s a player with great potential. It’s no accident that Real Madrid have signed him and it’s no coincidence that played the game (against Liverpool) that he has done. I am happy to have his help in the Brazilian team.”
