Massimiliano Allegri has said that he is ready to rest Ronaldo in any of the forthcoming matches.

The Portuguese superstar clinched a victory for his side in the Turin Derby as he scored from the spot to get his side over the line against Torino.

Juventus manager Max Allegri has repeated that he is ready to rest Cristiano Ronaldo in any one of the forthcoming matches. The Portuguese superstar was once again on target for his side against Torino as he clinched the winner from the spot in the Turin derby. The former Real Madrid forward has been in superb form as he has already notched up 11 goals while dishing out six assists so far this season in the Serie A.

Speaking to the media in the post-match conference, Allegri said, “Ronaldo is a great professional. He truly cares about details. That’s why he is always fit.” He added, “But I already told him that he will miss one of the next games against Roma, Atalanta or Sampdoria.”

Speaking about his plans to rest the Portuguese skipper, the Juventus manager said something similar to what he had to say ahead of the Turin derby. Allegri had said, “This is the start of the final rush before the mid-season break, so we need the right energies.”

The goal against Torino has taken Ronaldo to the top of the table as he gets on level terms with Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek, who has also scored 11 goals so far this season.
