Stoke, Southampton and Leicester all keen on midfielder
Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen is set to leave Anfield in January with a handful of Premier league club’s chasing the Welshman.
Allen arrived at Liverpool from Swansea in 2012 for £15 million but failed to shine under Brendan Rodgers.
Potential suitors for the 25 year old include Stoke, Southampton and Leicester.
Allen only managed 2 goals in 75 appearances for the ‘Reds’.
If Allen’s future is in serious doubt, there would not be a lack of interest in him.
When at Swansea, Allen was a key player in their success under Rodgers, but he’s failed to impress at a bigger club, with a move away expected now that Jurgen Klopp has taken over.
The Welshman can play as a defensive or attacking midfielder, and when at Swansea was one of the most promising players in the Welsh side.
