Cardiff City chairman Vincent Tan is apparently very upset in a rather bizarre turn of events, that has seen the Malaysian owner turn on goalkeeper David Marshall for…..wait for it…..not scoring enough goals for the club.
Tan’s lack of footballing knowledge and prowess staggered Cardiff City officials, with Tan willing to let the impressive goalkeeper David Marshall leave the club, for his lack of goal scoring expoloits in the 2012/13 campaign.
Cardiff of course were promoted that season, with Marshall being one of the key members of the side who went up.
The Scottish stopper has since gone onto impress in Cardiff’s debut season, pulling of superb saves at pivotal points in matches for the South Wales side, with the keeper recently becoming his national team’s number one keeper, after impressing Gordan Strachan.
The Malaysian baffling lack of logical footballing sense id there for all to see, after some real odd desicions made by the controversial Tan, including the changing of the clubs colours, which has mocked the identity of the club.
A cardiff source also stated….
” Tan also wanted top know why both Marshall and the centre backs were not scorining on a regular basis, his lack of knowledge is baffling” .
So, yet another odd day in the troublesome tales of Tan, who has today sacked manager Malky Mackay, after some bizarre decisions made by the Malaysian owner.
