Ancelotti unsure of Khedira future

Sami Khedira could make the move to the Premier League in January. The World Cup winner’s future has been in doubt since the summer, with the Spanish giants bringing in a plethora of players that play in his position.

With his contract also set to expire in summer – with no signs of a contract renewal – he could leave on a free in seven months or leave on the cheap in the winter transfer window. His current boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has even himself admitted that he is unsure of the midfielder’s future. He said:

“There are indications that he might leave, but I think he wants to stay here.”

So he could be staying at the Bernabeu but it seems more likely, especially with no contract renewal in sight, that he will be leaving La Liga with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and AC Milan all keen on a move for him.

Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers would prefer to wait it out and try and get Khedira on a free at the end of the season, but they might not get the chance to, with the Gunners preferring to move quickly and sign him on the cheap in January.
