The attacking midfielder will join the Welsh club
Former Marseille winger Andre Ayew will join Swansea City in the coming days after completing his medical at the Liberty Stadium today.
The Ghana international’s agent told Sky Sports News HQ that his client had recently agreed personal terms with Garry Monk’s side and will take his medical today; which he ultimately passed.
With his personal terms and his medical being successful, Ayew now just needs to put pen-to-paper on his contract. It looks certain he will swap Ligue 1 for the Premier League on a free transfer.
What is his record like?
The 25-year old forward scored 13 goals in 35 appearances for both club and country in all competitions this campaign.
Andre’s younger brother, Jordan, also plays for the Ghana national team as an attacker. He currently applies his trade in club football at Ligue 1 outfit Lorient.
